AWARDS & RECOGNITION
"The winery is located in Millahue and the beautiful vineyard is on top of hills near the Andes Mountains. In this vintage cherry aromas dominate the nose, followed by cinnamon and chocolate. It has good acidity and firm tannins supporting a full-bodied palate. Chocolate-covered berries fill the mouth and linger in the rich finish."

"Vik is the house’s top wine and comes entirely from vineyards planted in 2007 in the most wind-exposed areas near the back of the estate in the Millahue zone of the Cachapoal Valley. These vineyards are in cooler sectors that give rise to fruitier wines with more acidity. This wine is 75% cabernet sauvignon and 25% cabernet franc. The cabernet takes a leading role on the nose with its herbal notes, touches of mint, and candied red fruit. Fierce, hard, somewhat rustic tannins accompany the deep, mouth-filling red fruit and spice flavors. A red for cellaring, with solid structure and powerful, complex flavors. Unquestionably the best version of Vik we’ve tasted since it debuted in 2009."
